Wynne-Brooks Lodge

Wynne-Brooks Lodge is owned by Gillingham District Scouts and located at Buckmore Park Campsite, Maidstone Road, Chatham. It is available for booking by all users of Buckmore Park Campsite and any hire income is received by Gillingham District Scout Council. Gillingham Groups enjoy preferential rates for using the building.

All bookings must be made via Buckmore Park Campsite bookings system and all enquiries about availability and other questions relating to the campsite should be directed to the campsite by email info@buckmorepark.org

Wynne-Brooks Lodge offers a main hall, kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms (both with a bunk bed). The building is centrally heated with wheelchair access and has its own parking facilities alongside. It is situated adjacent to Campsite D3. There is a range of activities on site which must be booked in advance - details and prices are available on the Buckmore Park Campsite website.

The building was donated to the district three years ago. The District has spent a considerable sum of money and leaders and members of the Gillingham Scout Active Support worked hard converting it to the finished building we have today.
