Welcome to Gillingham District Scouts

The Gillingham Scout District in Kent covers Gillingham, Brompton, Twydall, Rainham, Parkwood, Wigmore and Hempstead.

There are 11 scout groups, 5 explorer scout units and a district scout network offering young people, male and female between the ages of 6 and 25, the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities. Most of the groups have a beaver colony, cub pack and scout troop. Explorer scout units are based at five of the groups and the scout network is district based.

Give your heroes some window space

We’re asking you to give your chosen heroes prime spot on your windows. Download the 'Thank you' window poster template (see link below) that your young people can colour in. Once decorated, we want you to show off your designs and highlight the two people you want to thank by displaying the signs in your window. That way, everyone who walks pass will know who’s gone above and beyond in your community.

Take a picture of the display in your window and share your thanks using the hashtag #ThankTwo.
